Safety

Our number one Priority

To ensure that all our operators are fully capable of dealing with everything regarding the use of MEWPs and for working at heights, we make sure to put them trough a great deal of training. From Manual Handling training, SafePass training to First Aid training, we ensure that they are fully qualified to deal with many challenges faced on site. We are proud that we are able to conduct our own IPAF training and Working at Height training, both of which you can apply for here

Our Operators have the following training:

Manual Handling Training

The manual handling course is aimed at employees at all levels who may undertake manual handling operations, including the transporting of a load of items by lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, carrying, manoeuvring, steadying or transporting thereof by hand or by bodily force.

Safe Pass Training

The aim of the programme is to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry and to ensure that all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training to enable them to work without being a risk to themselves or others who might be affected by their acts or omissions.

IPAF MEWP Training

The IPAF Operator course is a mix of theory and practical, designed to teach you how to manoeuvre, drive and position MEWPs safely and proficiently. The most popular course is the 3a and 3b course, which shows you how to operate scissor and boom lifts.

MEWP Self Rescue

Every organization that operates MEWPs needs to develop a safe use plan and having documented rescue plans is a requirement. Workers need to be trained on the procedures to follow in the event of a fall or witness another individual fall, and it must also be part of your training program.

First Aid Training

Medical emergencies like a heart attack or choking happen all the time and we are never sure when they will occur. The Irish Red Cross trains individuals or groups in the skills necessary to recognise and provide first aid training for injuries and sudden illness until medical personnel arrive and take over.

Driver CPC

The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional bus, coach and lorry drivers. It has been introduced across Europe with the aim of improving road safety and maintaining high standards of driving.
